EDU 302.1 : School Internship phase 1 / weekly reflection / week 3

14/11/2022
          Today I reached the school at 9:10 am. The assembly observed ' childrens day ' and refreshed the memories of Jawaharlal Nehru and his contributions to our nation through various activities in the assembly.
In the second period I have class in 8G and our optional teacher has arrived there to observe my class. I used flash cards and ppt in the classroom. The teacher observed and asked me to take some corrections in teaching process.

15/11/2022 
Today I reached the school at 9.10a.m. In the morning itself teacher informed me to take substitution class at 8.B in the fourth period as the Hindi teacher was absent. In the second period I went to 8G. After a good rapport with students I continued the lesson ' The Nightingale and the rose '. Use of ppt seen effective. Childrens were listen the class very well. Afternoon I have class in 9c.

 Today I reached the school on time and the day started with the morning assembly conducted by 9.A.And today I have two continuous periods in 8.B. I taught the story, The Nightingale and the Rose from the unit, Flowers and Showers. In the second period, they were taught to design posters and the students performed well in the activity session. I used powerpoint presention in the class. In the third period , they were taught pronouns and types of pronouns. The students were active and highly interactive in the class. In the afternoon I have class in 9c, they were taught grammar session in the lesson.

17/11/2022
Today I reached the school at 9.15a.m. and that day started with an assembly. The morning assembly, as usual consisted of prayer, thought for the day, . In the second period, I went to class 8.B and taught the rest of the story, The Nightingale and the rose. In the group activity section, I implemented a debate and I observed that it was a new learning experience for the pupils. And in the afternoon session,I conducted a Conscientization Programme in 8.Gon the topic, “Water pollution"

18/11/2022
Today I reached the school at 9.10a.m. Then in the fifth period, I went to 8.B for my regular class. I taught the paragraphs 19 and 20 from the story, The Nightingale and the Rose. They performed well in the activity session and the student involvement was good throughout the class.
