EDU 302.1 : School Internship phase 1 / weekly reflection / week 9

Today I reached the school at 9.10 a.m. The happiness of new year was reflected in all the pupils’ faces. We exchanged our new year wishes with each other. In the second period, I went to standard 8.G. Nothing new was taught in class today. I asked them to share their Christmas,new year days.

3/1/2023
Today I reached school at 9:10 Am.I hadsecond period at 8.G and today I taught the poem, " My Grandmother's House " by kamala das with the help of ICT.  Then in the afternoon session, I got a period as substitution in 8.D. After that I completed my innovative model.

          I reached the school on time. In the morning session I went to 8.G on the second period as per the regular timetable and taught the next stanza of the poem, My grandmother's house . The students’ response was beyond my imagination. I think the powerpoint presentation helped in gaining students’ support and interest in learning process.

          Today I reached the school at 9.15a.m. There was morning assembly. Today, as usual I went to 8.G in the second period and I continued to teach the poem.And I tried my level best to make them understand about the theme and devices like simile and metaphor used in the poem. And in the third period I went to 9C and teacher told me to take new lesson.

I gave an activity to find out personification used in the poem.And in the third period I went to 9C and continued to take the lesson The Happiness Machine.

I utilized that period for taking class on grammar portions. And I help the students to prepare for their Christmas exam. 13/12/2022         Today I reached school as usual at 9:10 Am.
