EDU 302.1 : School Internship phase 1 / weekly reflection / week 10


9/1/2023

Today I reached the school at 9.15a.m. and that day started with an assembly. The morning assembly, as usual consisted of prayer, thought for the day. In the second period, I went to class 8.G and completed the poem My grandmother's house.Afternoon I got a substitution period in 8 G I utilized that period to gave notes on the poem My grandmother's house.

Today I reached the school at 9.15a.m. and that day started with an assembly. The morning assembly, as usual consisted of prayer, thought for the day. In the second period I went to 8G and start the new poem "solitude".In the entry activity, I showe them a picture card and I observed that it helped to grab students’ attention to the content of the poem.Then in the afternoon session, I had a period in 8.G and I utilised that period to  gave them some language activities. The school time ended usually at 3:15p.m after the National Anthem.

Today I reached the school at 9.10a.m. Then in the second period, I went to 8.G for my regular class. I taught next stanza of the poem Solitude . They performed well in the activity session and the student involvement was great.

12/1/2023

Today I reached the school at 9.10a.m. I had two periods today. In the morning session, I went to 8.G and taught the next stanza of the poem solitude . I used powerpoint presentation  and profile writing was given as the group activity. Students performed well in the group activity and I motivated them for their efforts. Students’ feedback was satisfactory and I observed that ICT classrooms are more effective and student friendly. In the afternoon session I went to 9C and taught them rest of the story Happiness Machine.

     Today I reached the school at 9.10a.m. Then in the fourth period, I went to 8.G for my regular class. I taught next stanza of the poem Solitude . They performed well in the activity session and the student involvement was great.Afternoon I have class in 9c during that hour I give them a  activity to write a paragraph about "How can we be happy?" Students performed well in the activity.

I utilized that period for taking class on grammar portions. And I help the students to prepare for their Christmas exam. 13/12/2022         Today I reached school as usual at 9:10 Am.
